Cueibet county commissioner arrested in Rumbek
Incident Description
On April 15, the commissioner of Cueibet County in Lakes State, Deng Mario Deng, was suspended and arrested by security forces. He is a member of the opposition SPLM-IO party led by detained First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar. The arrest happened in the state capital, Rumbek, for allegedly defying orders.
