DR Congo park rangers shoot, arrest South Sudanese hunters

On 15 June 2025- Seven South Sudanese hunters were arrested, and two were shot and injured after allegedly crossing into Garamba National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to hunt. The group of hunters from jurisdiction crossed into the DRC near the Lantoto-Garamba National Park border.
