Kenyan engineer killed, another missing after ambush in South Sudan
Incident Description
On 31 July 2025, a Kenyan engineer was shot dead, and another Kenyan national, Richard Matiangi, went missing in a road ambush. The two were traveling to Uganda, and the vehicle was attacked near Bazi. The Assailants opened fire, killed the engineer, and set the car ablaze.
