IOM Staff Abducted While Traveling to Libogo Border for Ebola Response
Incident Description
In August 2026, IOM staff members were reportedly abducted while traveling to the Libogo border area to support the Ebola response. The staff members were reportedly held for two days before being released. During the incident, the abductors allegedly took their personal belongings and other valuables.
