Edmund Yakani said the advocacy efforts for the safety of deportees highlighted a positive response from the government regarding these initiatives. It was noted that seven deportees will return to their countries, mirroring the situation of a Mexican. However, there remains a concern for the safety of the six deportees who will stay behind. Edmund said committed to campaigning for the safety and return of these remaining Deportees as a critical next step in the advocacy efforts.
