National Legislative Member Condemned Incident of Wau

24THFeb, 2025 Wau-A member of the National Legislative Assembly from SPLM-IO representing western Bahr el Ghazal State’s Jur River county has condemned the recent burning of villages in his constituency by elements from the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) and National Security Service.

SPLA-IO and civilians clash in Panyijiar County

On Monday morning, at least two people were killed and eight others sustained injuries, soldiers from the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLA-IO) and civilians fought in Panyijiar County’s Pachienjok Payam in Unity State. One person was identified as Ruon Khan, and five were injured; SPLA-IO lost one person.
