11 killed as Pibor, Kapoeta East youth clash in Verthet
Incident Description
On 22 October 2025-a deadly clash erupted in Verthet County, Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA), when local herders ambushed suspected cattle raiders from Eastern Equatoria, resulting in 11 fatalities. hey were spotted and waylaid before they attacked. Four local youth were killed, and 7 bodies of the attackers were found.
