14 killed, 23 injured in Rubkona County cattle
Incident Description
On 2 June 2026, at least 14 people, including women and children, were killed, and 23 others were wounded in a deadly cattle raid on Payangai village in Budang Payam, & at least 40cows were killed in the raid. The attackers are suspected of being from the Parieng area of Ruweng Administrative Area (RAA).
