27 killed in Terekeka inter-clan clashes

On 18 February 2026- at least 27 people were killed in violent clashes between the Kogi and Yari communities in Terekeka County, Kogi village was reportedly completely burned down during the clashes and displaced families from both communities, Markets and local infrastructure in the area were damaged as people fled the violence.
