3 civilians killed in ambush in Tambura County

On 12 Oct, 2025, unknown gunmen opened fire and killed three people, one woman and two men, who were on their way to Yubu for a burial, when unfortunately, all three died on the spot along the Tambura-Rii-Yubu road, Sudan People’s Liberation Army-in-Opposition (SPLA-IO) of being behind repeated attacks in the area including killings, gunfire, and looting of the community.
