7 killed in incidents in Gogrial East

Between 20- 22 March 2026-seperate violence included killings linked to interpersonal disputes, cattle raiding, and actions by armed youth, occurred in Mangol Apuk payam. On 20 March, a man fatally punched a 20-year-old during a fight and killed him. The victim’s family rejected compensation, and the alleged attacker was later killed. Armed cattle raiders killed another person and attacked a cattle camp earlier in the week, killing two people and stealing livestock. The cattle were later recovered, and two suspected raiders were captured and killed.
