Bor community leader’s vehicle attacked on Juba-Bor road
Incident Description
On 13 August 2025, the secretary-general of the Bor Community, Mayom Ateny Wai, was ambushed along the Juba-Bor road, leaving his brother seriously injured. The attack occurred near Mogiri in Central Equatoria State as the group traveled from Bor to Juba on a vehicle. his brother, Madit Ateny Wai, was shot three times.
