Dozens killed in Nasir border clashes
Incident Description
On 20 Sept 2025, the government forces (SSPDF) repelled an attack by opposition fighters and a youth militia, killing at least 48 combatants and 160 others injured,” while government forces sustained five light injuries, in a border town. The clashes erupted in the Burebiey area of Nasir county in Upper Nile state, near the border with Ethiopia.
