EW 2: Forceful Displacement of Returnees in Wudabi & Panyume Payam of Morobo
Incident Description
On 8 March 2025, over 150 Households Displaced by NAS with a total population of 1,406, who are mainly returnees from DR Congo and Uganda, were forced to flee their homes with few belongings to seek safety at Lujule payam headquarters, according to the Payam director and the County Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC). This was due to the torture, abduction, looting, rape and sexual assault of the civilians by the armed men.
