EW 2: SPLA-IO cantonment area attacked by the SSPDF in Yaribe, Panyume payam

On 22 April /2025, the SSPDF launched a heavy attack against the SPLA-IO after the eve of Easter Monday at exactly 5:00AM targeting areas like yondu, yaribe, Nyori, Lujule. They later advanced to panyume cantonment area and took over control of the whole territory. The attack include aerial strike and bombardments and sailing that led to the destruction of civilians property and displacement of over 14, 500 IDPs to the different bomas of Gulumbi payam. The situation brought caused a lot of mistrust, fear and hopelessness among the civilians on the future of this country.
