Officer killed in attack on Maridi military outpost
Incident Description
On 9 July 2025 group of gunmen attacked an outpost for joint security forces in Maridi County, Western Equatoria State, leaving a police officer dead and an SSPDF officer injured. The attack occurred in the early hours of Wednesday when armed assailants launched an assault on the joint security forces’ outpost in Modubai Boma.
