Police detain officer over revenge killing

On 3 July 2025, Sergeant Major, Pab Atem killed a man, identified as Angok Akoon, in revenge of his brother. He said the deceased killed his brother some time back, in a cattle theft incident, at Ajak Kuac. Atem accused deceased Angok Akoon, of shooting his brother at the neck, stealing their cattle, was spotted while fleeing the scene in Turalei payam, Twic county of Warrap state
