Police Officer Injured as Unknown Assailants Set His House Ablaze at Night

On 30 August 2026, at around 2:00 a.m., unknown individuals reportedly set fire to a police officer’s house while the family was asleep. The officer reportedly realized the house was on fire late and struggled to retrieve his gun. During the incident, part of the burning house collapsed on him, causing serious injuries to his back. Neighbors reportedly rescued him and rushed him to the hospital for treatment. He lost his belongings in the fire, while his wife and children were safely rescued.
