SSPDF airstrike hits hospital in Jonglei

On 3 Feb, 2026- airstrike carried out by South Sudanese government forces (SSPDF) struck Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) hospital in Lankien, Nyirol County, Jonglei State, resulting in injuries and significant damage to critical medical infrastructure and One staff member was wounded in the attack, The hospital’s main warehouse was destroyed. The destruction of the warehouse has left the facility without most of its essential medical supplies, severely compromising its ability to provide lifesaving care to the local population.
