Two Reconcile International Staff Abducted Along Yei–Morobo Road, Released After Five Days
Incident Description
On 23 July 2026, two staff members of Reconcile International were reportedly abducted in Alero, about seven miles from Yei Town, while traveling to Morobo County to carry out organizational activities. The two staff members were held for five days and were subsequently released after money was reportedly paid for their release.
