Joint Stakeholders-Parties Signatories to R-ARCSS Dialogue

Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO) jointly with South Sudan Women Mediators (SSWM) with support from United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) are rolling out the Joint Stakeholders-Parties Signatories to R-ARCSS Dialogue from 15th to 19th December, 2025. This is progressive step for embracing the long wait demanded political dialogue among the party’s signatories to R-ARCSS for renewal of political pledge for genuine implementation of the pending task of R-ARCSS for transitioning the country from violence to peace.
This scheduled Joint Stakeholders-Parties Signatories to R-ARCSS Dialogue is within the strategy of enhancing South Sudanese to South Sudanese Dialogue for nurturing peace and stability for the best interest of the citizens. Following the incident of Nasir in March, 2025 the implementation of the pending tasks of the 2018 peace agreement facing serious challenges among the key was the resuming of the military fighting between South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) and armed oppositions forces of Sudan People’s Liberation Army In-Opposition (SPLA-IO) across the country. The military confrontation between SSPDF and SPLA-IO is making the civil population pay a very expensive price through their lives and properties.
