National Security shuts down radio station in Bor
7 June, 2025- South Sudan’s National Security Service forcibly shut down a Radio Jonglei 95.9 FM ,Community radio station in Bor town on Sunday, ejecting staff and briefly detaining a journalist without explanation even without warrants, locked the building and cut off live broadcast. Journalist detained in Rumbek East
A Senior journalist, Manyang Mayom Meen, has been arrested. He works with U.N.-owned Radio Miraya FM They detained him in the remote Mabor-duong detention center.
